The Esports team plays a pivotal role in designing and bringing to life the most amazing esports products for the community. They contribute to creating exceptional experiences that resonate with users and elevate the world of esports.

As an Associate Special Projects you will be part of our Esports Leadership team that is responsible for the development, execution, oversight and adjustment of the company’s esports strategy and the resulting operational plan to realize our company mission to ‘create worlds beyond gameplay where players and fans become community’.  The ideal candidate will be based in the CET time zone (+/- 1 hour) and will report directly to our SVP of Game Ecosystems.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Strategic Projects set out by the Esports leadership team.
  • Create KPI reporting sheets and build the needed processes to have them populated by cross-organisational stakeholders.
  • Manage the tracking of KPI sheets with a focus on; events calendar, financial performance, viewerships targets and fan participation at live events.
  • Support and in-part lead the creation of presentations and documentations for key internal meetings such as, but not limited to; EFG and Esports Town Halls, Leadership meetings and offsites, board meetings and other general meetings.
  • Outreach for reporting needs to key stakeholders across the business with the task to collect information on internal KPIs as well as esports-related projects, products or innovation tasks.
  • Various ad-hoc supportive tasks for the Esports Leadership team, such as:
    • Support for documentation and the build of strategic roadmaps, business plans and other key initiatives from the team. 
    • Support internal business initiatives and convey executive leadership and esports leadership targets and goals to the wider business where needed.
    • Support on the execution of yearly HR & People & Culture areas such as individual and team goal setting in Leapsome, Esports org’s goals and targets for the year
    • Support in identifying and implementing initiatives which will increase NPS employee score within the Esports division.
  • Coordinate and set-up leadership and divisional meetings and implement organizational structure of the meetings.
  • Handle, shape and format information for internal and external communication across multiple communication forms and platforms.
  • Act as the point of contact among the leadership group in the Esports Division, executives and internal cross-organisational employees.
  • Attend meetings and keep as well as distribute minutes, follow up tasks and follow through on any general action items to ensure they are completed.
  • Observe, ideate, build and suggest ways to elevate the day-to-day management of the Esports Division, driving towards more efficiency.

Requirements:

What you need:

Must-have

  • Previously worked as an Associate Special Projects or Assistant to a leadership team or individual.
  • Well versed in the Google Suite of digital office products, such as Calendar, Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Ability to digest and understand reports across various reporting software, such as PowerBI or other similar platforms.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. (Whether via phone, email or in-person)
  • Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques.
  • Ability to manage information flow in a timely manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Basic knowledge of finance, gaming and esports.
  • PA diploma or certification is a plus but not a requirement.
