ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Inventory Manager supports warehouse operations through daily management of equipment, inventory, and shipping logistics. This role includes hands-on responsibilities such as loading/unloading, checking in/out equipment, restocking, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Inventory Manager works closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure operational efficiency and a well-organized warehouse. A critical part of this role is maintaining and updating the global inventory management software to ensure all equipment records, tags, and reports remain accurate and up-to-date.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Support day-to-day warehouse activities: loading/unloading, equipment check-ins/check-outs, and order preparation.
- Track and manage inventory levels; ensure all equipment and tools are accounted for and in working condition.
- Use and update the global inventory management software, ensuring equipment tags, records, and data are consistently accurate and up-to-date.
- Generate reports as required, providing updates to the Warehouse Manager and other teams.
- Restock, organize, and maintain inventory to meet project/event schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather details on new and existing equipment for tagging and inventory updates.
- Prepare shipments for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform physical counts of equipment and supplies, reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
- Participate in equipment inspections and notify the Warehouse Manager of maintenance needs.
- Assist with space optimization and inventory-related projects as needed.
Requirements:
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE
- Familiarity with modern warehouse operations, tools, and inventory systems.
- Experience using and maintaining global inventory management software, including tagging equipment and generating reports.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jacks (current forklift certification required).
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on warehouse tasks daily.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with inventory management systems and Google Suite.
- Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Understanding of safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
YOUR BONA FIDES
- Experience: 1-3 years in inventory management, warehousing, or related roles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
OTHER
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with occasional evenings/weekends.
- Travel: Local travel required; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Some domestic event travel may also be required, but will be coordinated in advance.
- Environment: Warehouse and office environment; hands-on warehouse work is required.
