ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and efficient shipping/logistics. This role includes managing the Inventory Manager, coordinating with internal and global partners for strategic planning, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. While this is a leadership position, the Warehouse Manager is expected to be hands-on, participating in loading, unloading, and physical warehouse tasks as needed. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for maintaining the global inventory management software for the North America region, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date, and generating reports to support operational planning and decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop and implement warehouse processes, including inventory management and tracking systems.
- Partner with global and internal teams to plan and forecast equipment needs and inventory levels.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: inventory control, space utilization, and shipping logistics.
- Analyze inventory and supply levels to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
- Manage and maintain the global inventory management software, ensuring accurate records, updates, and reporting.
- Collaborate with active teams to gather information on existing and new equipment, updating tags and records as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and freight/logistics partners.
- Strategize to reduce costs and improve warehouse efficiency.
- Inspect equipment and oversee general maintenance; ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Lead and participate in the preparation, loading, unloading, and restocking for events.
- Manage the Inventory Manager, including training, mentoring, and overseeing their performance.
- Track budgets, manage project timelines, and report on warehouse performance metrics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while optimizing space utilization.
Requirements:
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations with hands-on capabilities.
- Familiarity with modern warehouse infrastructure, layouts, and inventory management systems.
- Experience managing and maintaining global inventory management software, including updating records, tagging equipment, and running reports.
- Strong understanding of freight logistics, transportation, and vendor management.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices (OSHA 30 Certification required).
- Proficiency in Location Management Systems (LMS), global inventory software, and Google Suite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to operate a forklift (current forklift license required) and pallet jacks.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
YOUR BONA FIDES
- Experience: 5+ years in warehouse management or related experience, with leadership responsibilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
OTHER
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with occasional evenings/weekends.
- Travel: Local travel required; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Some domestic event travel may also be required, but will be coordinated in advance.
- Environment: Warehouse and office environment; hands-on warehouse work is required.
