Marketing Manager, Projects and Planning – KSA

The Marketing team is dedicated to manage the commercial and marketing functions in the company. Together, they drive EFG’s commercial success through strategic marketing efforts.

EFG’s Marketing Manager, Projects and Planning will be a key contributor to building out a new vertical within EFG’s global marketing department, called Marketing Strategy, Planning & Operations. This person will have the ability to serve as a project manager across key projects while also contributing to a new function within the organization, marketing project management. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving project success, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

What you’ll do:

Project Management (70%)

● Develop and implement project management methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistency and alignment across projects

● Establish and maintain project management tools and systems to support project planning, execution, and monitoring

● Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

● Assigns resources against each brief and allocates budget with the visibility and sign off of consumer marketing

● Sets project timelines and holds teams accountable for delivery

● Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery

● Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on project status, key metrics, and performance against targets

● Conduct project reviews and post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement

● Oversees centralized resourcing overview for MENA marketing organization

● Oversees centralized project status for MENA marketing organization

● Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in project management and PMO governance

Marketing Operations (30%)

● Demonstrate a proactive approach to optimizing marketing processes and workflows. Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency

● Provide regular reporting and analysis of marketing performance to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations for optimization

● Contribute to the maintenance of the global marketing calendar

● Oversees centralized resourcing overview for MENA marketing organization

● Centralize and maintain global marketing status and templates

● Enhance systems and processes to streamline operations, meeting efficiency and impact

● Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing operations and automation

What you’ll need:

● An analytical mind that can look at budgets and draw conclusions, collect insights and assign action items

● Well organized, detail-oriented, and can effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

● Collaborative and able to work with various teams within marketing and externally across commercial and product departments. They understand that ensuring alignment is imperative to driving results

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

● Ability to lead people towards a project vision and desired outcome, inspiring great work while keeping the organization on track through delivering in budget and on time

● Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects from initiation to closure

● A self starter who is comfortable elevating threats to success in order to better processes and workflows as marketing is launched in the MENA region

● Think outside the box and question processes and recommend solutions
