Product designer – Communities/Lobbies

We are looking for a Product Designer – Communities/ Lobbies to join our Design team and that will help solve how gamers connect. It’s a challenge for competitive gamers to find other like-minded individuals to connect, play, watch, and chat with – that’s why we are working on a new revolutionizing product that will reshape how gamers connect! You’ll fuel a thriving community where players find their perfect teammates, forge lasting friendships, and experience the joy of gaming together!

The Design team leads the design vision to ensure that it aligns with the objective of delivering high-quality user experiences for the community. Their role involves setting design standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and excellence in the user interface and experience.

 

What you will do:

  • Partner closely with product and engineering partners to define product experience for new features
  • Understand user flows and pain points, and produce, test, and iterate on high-quality designs to solve user needs
  • ·Ideation & Sketching: Brainstorming and exploring different design solutions through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Prototyping: Building low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to test and iterate on design solutions with users and for internal communication.
  • Usability testing: Identify issues and iterate. Ensure the product is usable and useful.
  • Visual design: Creating the visual look and feel of the product, ensuring UI design follows our branding, typography, and system.
  • Presentation & Storytelling: Effectively communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and team members.
  • Design system contribution: Refine and update design components to ensure consistency across the product.

Requirements:

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience designing digital products 
  • Has strong craft & process demonstrated through a portfolio of work
  • Experience with Figma
  • Experience with using Design Systems
  • Nice to have: Passionate or familiar with competitive gaming
