Everything You Need to Know Ahead of ESL Impact League Season 7

Monday, February 24, 2025, Stockholm – The all-women Counter-Strike teams are once again set to showcase the pinnacle of esports. With ESL Impact League Season 7 just around the corner, 28 elite Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) squads will clash in their regional showdowns all vying for one of the eight coveted spots to take over the stage in Dallas, Texas, at the season finale. 

From February 26 to April 12, 2025, all-women teams from Europe (EU), North America (NA), and South America (SA) will battle online for a chance to compete live in front of their fans at DreamHack Dallas, to claim their share of the $250,000 total winnings, and to ultimately be crowned the new ESL Impact Champions. Leading the charge, the undefeated Imperial Valkyries are determined to extend their legacy with a ninth consecutive ESL Impact trophy.

Launched at the beginning of 2022, ESL Impact is a part of EFG’s #GGFORALL initiative, dedicated to fostering safe, inclusive spaces for marginalized gamers. For more than three years, it has constantly diversified the competitive landscape and improved representation in esports by creating safe spaces for women to compete by highlighting role models and inspiring women to pursue careers in esports. The initiative provides teams, talent, players, staff, fans, and more with a dedicated ecosystem and year-round programming, creating a more diverse and equal gaming environment for everyone.

Schedule and Format

ESL Impact League Season 7 (February 26 – April 13) 

  • Europe:
    • 12 teams are split into two groups of six.
    • The Group Stage will be a single round-robin; all matches will be best-of-three.
    • The first-placed team in each group will advance to the Global Finals, and the second and third-placed teams from each group will play deciders to qualify. 
  • North America:
    • Eight teams from NA compete in one group.
    • The Group Stage will be a single round-robin; all matches will be best-of-three.
    • The winner and the runner-up will advance to the season’s Global Finals.
  • South America:
    • Eight teams from SA compete in one group.
    • The Group Stage will be a single round-robin; all matches will be best-of-three.
    • The winner and the runner-up will advance to the season’s Global Finals.
