Esports grade PC to be sold in lead-up to world’s largest esports event
(Cologne, Germany) – Intel® and ESL today reveal the limited edition Intel® Extreme Masters-grade PCs that will be sold in various stores worldwide leading up to the world’s largest esports event: the Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice World Championship. Bundled with computer games valued at US$165 and featuring a uniquely numbered holographic badge, each purchase of the IEM Challenger and IEM Champion PCs contributes incrementally to the current US$600,000 World Championship prize pool.

The limited edition PCs will be available in two forms:
- The IEM Champion PC is best in class configuration for any budding esports player. Comprised of high-performance components, the Champion guarantees the highest possible level of the game experience with at minimum the Intel® Core ™ i7 K-series, a Gigabyte™ motherboard, HyperX® 16GB DRAM and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX970 or AMD Radeon™ R9 290X graphics card. Complete with a 1TB hard drive and an additional 120GB Intel® SSD, the limited edition Champion is an all-star PC.
- The IEM Challenger is a computer designed to enable and deliver high performances in the latest games. The Challenger is equipped with at minimum an Intel® Core ™ i5 K-series, a Gigabyte™ motherboard, a 1TB hard drive and a 120GB Intel® SSD. Additionally, the computer boasts 8GB DRAM from HyperX®, and either an NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX960 or AMD Radeon™ R9 285 graphics card.
