Germany is ready for the world’s largest Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournament to take place in Cologne! ESL is proud to announce that the city’s biggest sports venue is officially sold out of tickets for ESL One Cologne. Over 14,000 live spectators on each of the main event days will watch the world’s top CS:GO teams battle it out for their share of the US$1,000,000 prize pool. ESL One Cologne marks ESL’s third CS:GO event this year, and the fifth official CS:GO Valve Major for the company.
The event will be broadcast on multiple online platforms, including Twitch, Azubu, Hitbox and Yahoo!, and is predicted to break industry records – in particular, the viewership records from its 2015 edition.
“We’re incredibly excited to see so many CS:GO fans from all over the world travelling to Cologne for ESL One. The world’s top CS:GO teams, a sold out arena and the array of side activities we have lined up for visitors will definitely make for an exciting and memorable esports weekend,” said Ulrich Schulze, VP of Pro Gaming at ESL.
