Indonesian team SES Alfaink took home the title at Mall Taman Anggrek, Jakarta, Indonesia, with 40,000 fans attending the Season 2 Free Fire Finals over two days
Jakarta, Indonesia, March 2, – The Snapdragon Pro Series Powered by Samsung Galaxy, the world’s largest multi-title mobile esports league, created by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and ESL FACEIT Group (‘EFG’), today shared the results of the Free Fire Season 2 Live Finals.. After an incredible performance at Mall Taman Aggrek, Jakarta, in front of a packed crowd, SES Alfaink (Indonesia) took home the win with 149 points, beating out First Raiders Eclipse (Indonesia) and EVOS Phoenix (Thailand) with 144 points each in the final standings.
The two-day tournament, which took place over Feb. 4-5, saw over 40,000 visitors pass through Mall Taman Anggrek across the weekend (20,000 each day) to watch twelve of the region’s best Free Fire teams compete for the lion’s share of a $300,000 USD total season prize pool. Content related to the finals was viewed over 11.7 million times online, and the tournament was also broadcast on linear television in Malaysia, generating a peak of over 89,000 live viewers during Sunday’s Grand Final.
