DreamLeague powered by Intel® returns in September with Season 21

12 of the world’s best Dota 2 teams from around the world to battle it out online for a $1,000,000 prize pool on September 18 – 24, 2023

24th August, 2023, Cologne/New York The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the leading esports and video game entertainment company, has today announced the 21st season of DreamLeague powered by Intel®. Building on ten years of Dota 2 esports legacy, the new season of the longest running professional Dota 2 league will see 12 top teams from around the globe battle it out for a $1,000,000 total prize pool on September 18 – 24.

With teams gathering in boot camps across Europe once more, the season will kick off with the Group Stage featuring two groups of six teams and a two-game series format. The top eight teams then proceed to the best-of-3, double-elimination Playoffs where the final two teams will face off against one another in the best-of-5 Grand Final to ultimately claim the coveted title and the $300,000 first prize.

The line-up of squads invited for DreamLeague Season 21 is:

With Season 21 being played on patch 7.34 and the last top-tier competition before TI12, it promises to be an even more electrifying battle as teams have the opportunity to gain additional tournament experience and finetune their skills.

DreamLeague Season 21 is part of the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) for Dota 2 which was announced earlier this year and combines EFG’s Dota 2 tournaments to give players, fans, and partners the opportunity to enjoy more Dota 2 competitions, featuring the best teams from different regions. The first season of the exciting circuit saw Gaimin Gladiators claim victory at DreamLeague Season 19 and Season 20, while Team Spirit was crowned EPT Champions after their win of Riyadh Masters at Gamers8.
