DreamHack Dallas Unveils Star-Studded List of Celebrity, Creator Guest Programming Featuring Esfand, Boze, Anjali Bhimani, Biqtch Puddin’, Brennan Lee Mulligan, and More

Three-Day Festival’s Main Stage to Feature Dungeons & Dragons One-Shot, Cosplay Competitions, Street Fighter 6 Showmatch, Drag Show, and Surprise Appearances

DALLAS, TX — ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the leading esports and video game entertainment company, and DreamHack, a leading global gaming festival, today announced all-new programming featuring popular influencers, actors, cosplayers, drag artists, and more coming to DreamHack Dallas the weekend of May 31-June 2, 2024, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The festival’s three-day Main Stage celebration of gaming culture compliments over $1 million dollars in esports competitions and mainstay events like its world-famous bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN party, Artist Alley, the return of its Indie Playground developer showcase, and additional content to be announced soon.

Esfand Takes on All FGC Challengers for Texas Street Fight on the Main Stage

OTK streaming titan Esfand will make his DreamHack debut and invite fans onto the Main Stage on Saturday for a Street Fighter 6 showdown. Participants will face off against Esfand one-on-one in front of a live audience and get to snap photos with their favorite streamer. Surprise guests will also appear to try and usurp the champion.

Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan Assembles All-Star Dungeoneers for DreamHack One-Shot

Dungeons & Dragons returns to the Main Stage as Dropout’s resident Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan crafts a custom adventure for a standout cast of creators and comedians. Featuring fellow dungeoneers including Anna Margaret, Valeria Rodríguez, Anjali Bhimani, and Erika Ishii, the party will saddle up and explore an all-new Western-inspired fantasy world.

Big Boss Boze Invites Celebrity Sleuths to Crack a Cold Case

True crime creator Boze is bringing her love for mystery to the Main Stage with DreamHack’s first-ever Murder Mystery Party. Hosted by Boze, guests including actress Anjali Bhimani, streamer Big Cheese, voice actor Katy Bentz, and others, who will have to suss out who among them is the murderer and bring them to justice. 

Biqtch Puddin’ Plans to Serve on the Main Stage With DreamHack’s First-Ever Drag Show

Drag and gaming aficionado Biqtch Puddin’ will play MC for DreamHack’s all-new Drag Show. With an emphasis on drag inspired by video games, comics, and geek culture, the Emmy-nominated performer will welcome guests including Jax, Lawrie Bird, MARISOL, Dotte Com, and Trashly.

DreamHack Cosplay Welcomes Slate of New Guest Judges for Dallas Competition

DreamHack’s iconic cosplay competition returns to Dallas with a star-studded roster of guest judges. Sparkle Stache, Heartless Aquarius, and Darklady Cosplay will join stage host Jahara Jayde as they facilitate competition across four tiers of experience: Youth, Novice, Artisan, and Expert. Finalists will be welcomed to the Main Stage on Saturday, May 1 for the competition’s finals, where the best dressed cosplayers will earn their share of the $3,200 total prize pool.

During the contest’s intermission, Ryann Kay will lead a unique aerial acrobatics performance as League of Legends and Arcane character Jinx. Kay and other professional cosplayers including Kyoshi Cosplay, Jimmy Sherfy, and Frostbite Cosplay will also be roaming the festival floor throughout the weekend for photo opportunities. 

Online sign-ups for Novice, Artisan, and Expert competitions are still available at dreamhack.com/dallas/cosplay. Youth submissions will only be accepted as walkups during the festival, and will be the only category eligible for day-of sign-ups.

Overwatch Voice Actors Make Hero’s Entrance at DreamHack Dallas

To celebrate the first-ever Overwatch Champions Series in-person competition, several iconic Overwatch voice actors will connect with fans throughout the festival, including at a dedicated meet & greet session on Friday, May 31. Participating voice actors include Anjali Bhimani (Symmetra), Carolina Ravassa (Sombra), and Valeria Rodríguez (Venture). 

Dynamic Duo Jake Lucky and HUN2R Pass the Mic at DreamHack Dallas

Esports creators and commentators Jake Lucky and HUN2R will be creating content alongside DreamHack’s largest-ever North American influencer cohort all weekend long. The duo will give fans at home a behind-the-scenes look at the esports players, creators, and celebrity guests coming to the festival.

Streamers Showcase Big Brains with Streamer Showdown Trivia Competition

Team Liquid streamer Eiya is inviting gaming’s brightest minds to compete in her very own trivia night. Contestants including Tactical Gramma and Omareloff will go head to head in a family-friendly trivia battle where the creator who knows popular games and their communities online will take home the win.
