EFG Esports Forum 2023

The business conference accompanying IEM Katowice will take place on February 10 and 11, 2023

The EFG Esports Forum is an international business conference accompanying the Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) competition in Katowice, Poland. This year’s esports industry meeting will take place at the International Congress Center (MCK) on February 10-11.

ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) invites representatives of esports companies and public institutions, local and EU politicians, investors, analysts, marketers, and journalists to attend the event, and learn more about the development and future of the esports industry, and the role of esports in the European digital economy.

Friday, February 10, 2023
The agenda will revolve around the theme “Esports Elevated. Trends & Perspectives,” and focus on various areas of development and the future of the esports industry. 

The event commences at 10:00 CET with open keynotes that anyone attending IEM Katowice 2023 can register for. During those keynote speeches, industry experts will share the latest research and present key trends in the development of esports. Furthermore, experts from EFG will discuss diversity and inclusion in esports, as well as the most interesting campaigns and the organization’s plans for the next year of esports emotions. 

These open keynotes will be followed by a closed forum for representatives of public institutions and politics. 

Saturday, February 11, 2023
The second day of the EFG Esports Forum is organized jointly with the Interactive Software Federation of Europe – Esports (ISFE – Esports), and will be held under the theme “Esports: a creative opportunity for Europe’s digital economy. The example of Poland”. 

This part of the conference features panel discussions that will focus on the relationship between the esports industry and the economy – nationwide and local. Topics covered on this day include the impact of esports on local governments and community development and the development of the digital economy and social competencies in the EU.
