The Sidemen, Tyler1, and MrSavage join DreamHack Stockholm’s guest lineup ahead of inaugural festival on Nov. 22-24
November 18, 2024, Stockholm: DreamHack, ESL FACEIT Group’s (EFG) international gaming lifestyle festival, today revealed its full program for the highly anticipated debut of DreamHack Stockholm, taking place November 22-24 at Stockholmsmässan. The festival is set to celebrate everything gaming under one roof and promises a prime blend of esports, gaming culture, music, and community activities.
DreamHack Stockholm, which brings the 30-year tradition of DreamHack to Sweden’s capital for the first time, provides fans with an opportunity not only to play and compete, but also connect with their favorite content creators and the gaming communities they belong to. DreamHack Stockholm is hosting over 400 content creators on-site, boasting a combined reach of over 300M followers across social media. Gaming enthusiasts will have the chance to meet the world’s most popular content creators and esports icons, including EllenViking, LAKI, and Zorba, as well as the highly anticipated European debut of streaming legend Tyler1. The biggest Fortnite players and creators, MrSavage, and Clix, will be interacting with the crowd throughout the weekend, with MrSavage facing off in an exciting showdown against fans. Adding even more star power, The Sidemen’s Harry, Simon, and Josh will be onsite, bringing their popular blend of humor and charisma to the Main Stage during a special EA SPORTS FC 25 competition.
The ultimate cosplay experience
Cosplay fans are in for a treat with two major competitions: the DreamHack Cosplay Championship (DHCC), featuring four competition tiers—Youth, Novice, Artisan, and Expert—battling for a 28,000 SEK prize pool, and the Extreme Cosplay Gathering (ECG) Qualifier, offering top talent a shot at Europe’s grandest cosplay stage at Japan Expo in Paris.
DreamHack & Def Jam present: Legendary
DreamHack and Def Jam Recordings Sweden present Legendary, a hip-hop night showcasing the finest selection of Sweden’s hip-hop scene. Presented live from the festival’s main stage, Legendary will kick off immediately after the opening ceremony and includes two hours of back-to-back sets, followed by a DJ set from Ladieslove through the remainder of the night. The lineup collectively boasts nearly 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify and reflects an assortment of established artists and rising talent such as Adaam, Imenella, and Greekazo.
DreamHack’s largest-ever expo: arcade, art, and more
DreamHack Stockholm will offer an extensive range of activities designed to engage gaming enthusiasts and foster community interaction, including the largest expo area in DreamHack’s history. Attendees can dive into classic and new games at the Arcade, explore the vibrant Artist Alley, traverse the variety of games from Indie Developers around the globe, and much more. The festival weekend is set to deliver a thrilling lineup for esports enthusiasts, showcasing top-tier competitions across multiple titles, including:
- The inaugural World Finals of Blizzard Entertainment and EFG’s Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS). The OWCS World Finals will be the first in-person European OWCS tournament, with eight of the world’s best squads facing off to become the OWCS World Champions.
- The ESL Impact Season 6 Global Finals, where the world’s best women’s Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams battle it out for a share of the $123,000 prize pool and the coveted ESL Impact Champion title.
- Sweden’s own CS2 Elitserien finals, spotlighting local CS talent vying for regional dominance.
