ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 Finals in Los Angeles!

The ESL ESEA Pro League is heading to Los Angeles this December for its Season 2 finals: the four best teams from each of the two regions, North America and Europe, will clash in the ESL Burbank Studios from 10-13 December. A total of US$500,000 was put on the line this season, with US$250,000 up for grabs for the teams who make it to the finals.

Europe: Will EnVyUs, Virtus.pro or Ninjas in Pyjamas miss out on the finals?
The top four in the European division of the ESL ESEA Pro League lacks some of the legends from ESL One Cologne 2015. Right now, EnVyUs and Virtus.pro (who were second place and semifinalists in Cologne, respectively) are behind in the race for one of the qualifying spots. While EnVyUs are only four points away from entering the top four, Virtus.pro lack thirteen. The next weeks will show if they can turn things around or if Team Dignitas and Natus Vincere will defend their places and join Team SoloMid and Fnatic on their trip to the US.

North America: More teams fighting for the top – and kicking out the legends?
In North America, the usual suspects for top positions are falling behind. Cloud9 and Counter Logic Gaming currently hold third and fourth rank – only points away from losing them – and teams like Luminosity Gaming are hot on their heels. Can compLexity and Team Liquid shake up the balance of power in North America or will the former legends of Katowice be missing out on the finals on their home turf?

It’s shaping up to be an exciting conclusion to what has been a great season. For more information regarding the tournament, head over to the ESL ESEA Pro League website.
