Season 6 to Include Asphalt 9: Legends, Auto Chess, Clash of Clans and PUBG MOBILE
LOS ANGELES — August 12, 2020 — ESL, the world’s largest esports company, announced the return of the ESL Mobile Open presented by AT&T for its 6th season of action. In Season 5, the program saw unprecedented success with milestones set across the board. In comparison to Season 4, participation was up 48%, social engagement up 20% and broadcast hours watched shattered previous season marks, up 204%. The program also saw playership pass the one million participant mark since its launch in March of 2019.

The first day of play kicked off Sunday, August 9, with the Open Qualifier period running through September 5. Qualifying teams in each mobile title then go head to head in Closed Qualifiers from September 6 through September 26. Competition will be further whittled down, with the best teams and players competing in the Online Playoffs which will be broadcasted live on Twitch and YouTube from October 5 to October 23. A special announcement regarding the Season 6 Finals will be made in the coming weeks.
